About me
Hi. My name is Steph. I have been a hair stylist for over 20 years. I moved to New Zealand from the UK in 2013 where I built up and loved
working in two beautiful salons of my own. After 13 years me and my family decided to make the move to the Gold
Coast from Auckland, New Zealand mid 2024.
I have been lucky enough to start working alongside some incredible hair stylists here in the Goldcoast and also as a freelance hairdresser in a salon local to me in Elanora, QLD
Moving countries is not easy but I am excited to build connections with new clients as I start my hair journey here in Australia.

TRENDS
Haircuts
2026 I am seeing so much more layering and shaping when it comes to long hair. High face framing and plenty of layers to soften the face and emphasise your features. Shorter mid length hair I am seeing more structure with softness around the face.
Highlights
This year I am seeing a lot more honey and soft golden tones and going back to more blended foil work for low maintained styles instead of the bright blondes that we saw last year.
Balayage
Balayage is still a huge go to for a lot of clients as it gives brunettes and darker blondes a blonde result that stay low maintenance. There is a slow shift to darker blondes meaning even lower maintenance plus healthier hair. It's a win win.
